I have been going to this restaurant with friends and family for 10 years and have had excellent service both eating in and take away all this time. The staff are friendly and remember if you have had any preferences, like in my case chili sauce and prawn crackers. They have on occasion when required catered for a finicky child's food likes. What Hawkesdi doesn't like about El Jardin:
Tried this Chinese restaurant for the first time tonight. Service was quick and food mostly ok apart from the boney bits in the chicken curry! After ordering our food the waitress came back and told us there was no ice cream for dessert. This left flan, tea and coffee so not too bad for a menu del dia. After the meal we were told there was no ice cream, tea, coffee or flan. I asked in Spanish) what the alternatives w... View all feedback.
Besides eating well you'll laugh a while with the owner's comments.
We went the other day to eat all the friends, besides eating very good manchego gazpacho and meat to the braza, you can eat all the sausage you want to take it yourself and the owner of the local ameniza with card tricks on the tables. the price is very good, between 20 and 25 euros. I recommend it.

I asked if it were possible to have a drink instead and she said “ no there is no alternative “. We felt rather hard done by. There was no discount or any alternative offered....nothing......nada. Shame as the place had a bit of potential.

The range of food is catered to the Spanish taste and therefore not actually genuine Chinese as such. Then this is a food that has changed its taste for just about every country in which it is served.. .
Yey a Chinese restaurant in my little Spanish town. Was so looking forward to it but was sadly disappointed. Really terrible meal, and I don't say that lightly. I really wanted to enjoy it, and noticed they had a home delivery service which I would also have used. But it was not to be... The starter was 12 euros and was the worst thing I think I have ever been served. Grey, cold, clammy dim sum. The crispy Peking duck with pancakes is normally served so that you can roll your own which is half the fun but not here. A plate of soggy pancakes came, filled with non crispy, non tasty, cold meat. Could have been anything in there, and certainly had a lack of crispy veg and hoi sin sauce. The rice with a thousand delights had nothing to delight me, and the beef with noodles was about the best thing and that was poor. The service was abrupt and slooooowwwww. When we arrived there was just one other table and yet we still had to wait ages to be served. Yet when other people came in they got served much quicker than us. I really really advise you stay clear of this place.
