I saw myself struggling with my walker when we came past a dame from the restaurant to inform me about a simpler way! very contemplative of her and it has decided that if we had a bath finished, it would be the place to choose lunch. a good choice that it felt too! What User doesn't like about Le Marco Polo:
The food overall was ok but the service is what brought down the rating. When we sat down we were able to get our first course fairly quickly. But had asked for water and after 3rd time of asking and 30+ min we finally got...our water. We had ordered our dinner but after waiting over an hour we finally asked about it and they had clearly forgot. Not very friendly response to the late food. They took off a appetizer b... We stopped here for lunch. tables in the shadow straight out of the main train, but with view of the coming and going of the harbour. Most tourist but less tourist than the awning-ed places that had found the harbour either less than. excellent or heaping the price for less than special food. we had seebarsch x 2, a 50cl bottle of local rose and a half bottle of san pellegrino, total cost a bare 60 euro. the service was fast and good. the fish was deliciously generous, simply fried in butter, but not drowned (can almost be grilled). a lunch stop before others round the harbour.
Delicious lunch, very accommodating hostess (it was pouring rain on May 26, the Fête du Vin Cassis 2019) and she did her best to keep every patron dry and happy for lunch. Judging by the other patrons, lots of locals and few tourists which is...always a good sign of fine dining.
For the first time in cassis, rather a picturesque little port and we went to Marco Polo. I was there with my crew for only 1 night and we found this little night restaurant. Service good... the Salmon as appetizer, really good... and then the...sea bass.. Delicious. We took th menu of 25 Euro and it was worth it, with a nice glass of local white wine..mmmm...overall a very nice restaurant with good and swift service, very friendly and a splendid view on the harbour ... To keep in mind when I need to come back
Very good meals, great reception! Really a good address that I will not fail to pass! I'll go back without hesitation!
Super restaurant on the port of Cassis, the servers are very helpful and very friendly. I strongly advise this place to anyone...
