Locanda Biancospino - CASSINO

Found this little gem completely by accident, so glad we did! We rated this restaurant as one of the best we tried during our stay in Italy. Excellent and friendly service, definitely one to try!

We stopped for directions to a B&B and decided to stay for lunch . Roberto entertained us with history of Cassino, while his mother Margherita and sister Rita made a meal we will never forget. We have traveled around Sicily and Italy eating for the past 2weeks . This is by far the best meal we have had. Don't pass up Bianco Spino!

Mother and son run. Typical Italian, fresh pasta made on the spot. Only 2 fresh dishes of the day on the menu. It does not get more authentic or delicious than this. Just say yes to whatever they offer and let yourself be delighted. What else could you possibly want for an Italian experience?

It's a very good place in wich you can eat very good food, expecially tipical italian food. i had a very good time, the staff is very kind and you can have fun with them. i'm looking forward to come back.

Comming down from Montecassino we were looking on trip advisor for a place to eat. As we were doing it we passed by this family owned place. Although it was closed they agreed to set a meal for us. The service went out of the way. English was spoken fluently. Capreza and various dishes of vegetables were great special and tasty came along with local cheese and wine. For main dishes we had a green lasania for me and artichoke pasta with picorino cheese. Both were delicious. Espresso was one of the best ever. All together very much recommended.
