What User doesn't like about Bardo:
It was an average place close to the beach .Lot of parties, night music and events all the time. Location is good and rooms were decent but certainly not for me to visit again View all feedback.
What a royal waste of time. A sprawling property on Mandrem beach, Bardos is just another clone of the beach pubs that proliferate Goa. Overpriced alcohol, dark, excessively decorated and insipid music. I'm not a big fan of electronic dance music because it makes mockery of all the three terms. The music sounds like it was composed by a dyslexic android while the dancing involves testing the tolerance levels of your joints. Not to say that I am against people enjoying in their own style but why would I go to Bardos when it's just as easy to clone at home or anywhere else. For some reason they have menacing looking bouncers - very un-Goan. To make a long story short, I apologise for having wasted your precious time just to tell you that you're not missing anything if you've not gone to Bardos.

We friends visited Bardo on 12th February 2014. The place is made well with excellent natural and man-made landscaping. However, the F&B is horrible. They tend to fleece guests. We had ordered a pitcher of Long island iced tea, which to our surprise was coming to be more expensive then ordering the same per glass. The taste was also questionable. When we spoke to the f&b, they were hell bent they were correct. When we asked them to call the manager, they simply avoided. Our recommendation is that one should go to this place only if a private party is being held, else there are much better places to go rather then wasting your time.
Spent a few hours at a place- very relaxing....use Google Maps...this property is on Ashwem Beach...was under renovation/ upgradation when we visited...but the pool side is great, with parasols, neat swimming pool..not very crowded..and opens onto Ashvem beach- a great place to unwind if you are looking for a nice, private time away from the hubbub!
With a few countable positives about this place .. the ambience is stunning & overlooks the beautiful ashvem beach & there is no other thing i can talk about.. We were asked to pay for a table as much as 10K (negotiated from 15K) and we were never informed - DJ shuts by 11 pm - so no loud music - Kitchen shuts by 11 pm - no food , even finger food- House music shuts by 12We were promised the party will run by 5 am, little we realized they made us fools! We were a group of 10 people visiting to celebrate a special occasion & these guys royally spoilt it up & could not have made worst for us. With Goa being a party hub, it is not possible a place is so bad to experience, especially when you pay & travel such long hours to reach a place and celebrate your occasion. They did not assist us with a cake to cut for the ceremony, infact there was another group of 7-8 people whose were there to celebrate a bday, and there night was spoilt too. With a remote location we were left stranded and management was not at all sensitive, they were rude pricks! We were offered no food except 1 serving few pizzas which were later refused to be served as the kitchen was closed. Only person who was good was the bartender, Kabir Khan.. friendly! Its a total rip off ! I strongly suggest not to visit this place. Bunch of frauds!
