What User doesn't like about Hong Kong Chinese:
I got lunch deal of spice and sweet n sour pork the rice was hard! The batter on the pork was very soft and the piece’s were stuck together way too much sauce. Normally sweet n sour pork has some pineapple and peppers but nothing in this.disappointing View all feedback.
We searched for the best Chinese restaurants in the Northern Rivers and found this one among the top recommendations. Although we live about 40 minutes away, it was definitely worth the drive. They offer a wide variety of traditional dishes at great prices, and they even have a special lunch menu. The waitress was delightful, and the restaurant is very clean.
Three weeks ago, I reviewed a different Chinese restaurant on Barker St and was pleased with it. However, Mun Tien is even better! The dishes are more flavorful, packed with protein, including delicious prawns, and the vegetables are super fresh. Even after a 50-minute journey home, the food was still HOT and didn't require any reheating. The special fried rice was excellent, and the accompanying prawn crackers and crispy noodles were fresh and tasty. An added bonus is that it's slightly cheaper than the previous restaurant. Plus, the speed at which our food arrived was astounding. Incredible!

The BEST Chinese in town. We only have two but this one is heads above the other. GREAT FOOD!!!
