O Canhoto - Cascais

Waited more than one hour for grilled sardines, in a room at 35°C, where they refused to turn on the AC because the owner didn't allow it, accordingly to the waiter. Huge disappointment as it was highly recommended. Rude employees, late food and a hell literally of a meals room, definitely a lot to improve.

Canhoto in English means left handed, and probably the name of the restaurant is due to the owner 's godly left hand in cooking. Canhoto is one of the well established typical portuguese restaurants in the Cascais area. They are considered by many as having the best snails in town, specially because of their to the point slightly spicy sauce, that has God 's left hand in it. This is a place where seafood lovers go regularly, and is very hard to get a table, so its imperative to make a reservation. Serves a wide range of fresh fish and superbly cooked meat. Desserts are very nice and staff are household guides. Very well deserved 5 star rating.

Restaurante prático para comida caseira a bom preço. Eu comi algumas bochechas de porco com purê de coentro e foi ótimo. o restaurante típico de pratos do dia, mas com comida muito bem mobilado
