We stopped by for breakfast early on a Saturday morning while heading to Dubuque. There was just one server handling around 6-8 tables and booths, serving a total of about 15 customers. The service was impeccable! The food was outstanding! I ordered an omelette with hash browns and toast, and I have to say, I'm not usually a big breakfast person, but those hash browns were the best I've ever tasted, and the omelette was perfect. We'll definitely be returning for more delicious meals!
The food was excellent, and the waitress was friendly. There were some unique options on the menu, making for a wonderful experience overall.
The service was good, and the staff were friendly and amusing, which is why I'm giving them one star. Unfortunately, the food was very, very disappointing, as were the drinks. The dishes appeared to have been sitting out for hours and were seriously undercooked.
My husband and I stopped in this lovely quaint joint on our way home from a relaxing getaway. Needless to say we were pleasantly suprised with our food, and the service was outstanding! We ate supper the night before at a 5 star restaurant in another town and the service and food didn't even compare to our experience at this diner! We will definitely stop again!
Took our lunch to go, best pork chop sandwich ever, BLT was just like homemade. Friendly waitress, will definitely stop again!
