Reviews reveal a mixed bag of experiences, from delicious, flavorful burgers and excellent service to longer-than-expected wait times and inconsistent food quality. While many highlighted the tasty southern charm burger and generous refills on sides, issues such as rude service and inaccurate bills have also been raised. Vegetarians can enjoy plant-based options, and a rewards program adds value for frequent visitors. Despite some challenges, the restaurant shows promise, encouraging patrons to give it another chance as operational kinks are worked out.
I want to start by saying that my recent dining experiences have not been the best. I’m not trying to criticize the staff; I understand they may be doing their best while being short-staffed and overwhelmed. However, I have to express how impressed I was with my experience at this restaurant today. The service exceeded anything I’ve encountered in the last three years. From the moment we walked in, the host was welcoming, and our waitress, Ashley, was fantastic. The gentleman who brought out our food and the sweet girl who refilled our drinks also contributed to a wonderful experience. Thank you for such a refreshing visit! The food was fantastic as well! I loved the fried pickles, and my burger was cooked to perfection. I wish I had thought to take a picture before diving in because it looked as good as it tasted!
My nephew treated me to this restaurant for my birthday, and it was my first time there. I had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff was extremely friendly. The mozzarella sticks were scrumptious, served hot and fresh. I ordered the black and blue burger with cheese and mushrooms, and I enjoyed it so much that I ate it before I could snap a picture. It was an excellent choice. I highly recommend this place in White Oak!
My family and I recently dined at the Carolina Ale House, and we are thrilled that my daughter recommended it instead of Red Robin. Our server, Bryce, was by far the best I've encountered in the last two years. He was attentive without being intrusive. The meal was amazing. I particularly enjoyed the addition of speck on my burger and the pickles served on the side. I also appreciated the option to add sour cream to another burger, along with the variety of dipping sauces for the French fries. Everything we tried was delicious and truly met our expectations.
The restaurant seemed to be lacking in staff, as the few employees I observed were taking on multiple roles. It was remarkable to witness their efficiency. At first, we thought there was only one person on duty, but it turned out there may have been more. The young woman managing the restaurant truly deserves five stars for her diligent efforts. The food was delicious.
I recently tried a burger at this restaurant for the first time in over ten years, as I had avoided red meat due to migraine issues. I'm pleased to say that I didn't have any migraines after eating it. The burger was absolutely delicious, and I really enjoyed the experience.
