Martins Grill - Carvoeiro

Can not check the food because of the bad service that we have actually not managed to order anything, would certainly not recommend visiting.

A great experience! we ordered fresh grilled tuna. we have completely dry deep frozen tuna with tasteless potato and wedge-tables. It's impossible to eat. for the drinks we had vinjo verde, that was ok, and sangria, who tasted rotten fruits. when we ordered a bill, we got it. another table bill that was higher than our real bill. they corrected the debt with exclusion. Never!

At the arrival in carvoeiro we went here as it was on the busy place and next to the beach. we sat on a table and waited and waited and waited for someone to come over. Although they noticed our arrival, no one has tried to know that we have waited for the service. similar happened with a couple next to us. After almost minutes we decided to leave, as there was no sign of service yet, although the staff was not busy all the time! we decided not to return especially after we have read other reviews on tripadvisor.

Really surprised to read some of the recent reviews as we dined here last Friday and had a really good lunch. We had the golden sea bream and the sardines. Both meals were absolutely lovely and cooked perfectly. We also ordered a nice bottle of...Portuguese Sauvignon Blanc and really enjoyed it (not usually that impressed with Portuguese wine but this was very good at Euros a bottle). The service was good and we had no complaints whatsoever. On top of this we thought the bill for of us (including coffee) was very reasonable at approx. Euros we have paid much more than this in restaurants nearby that were not as good as this. Sad to hear the bad reviews but just wanted to speak up for the restaurant as happy diners! We would definitely come back again.

Nice place and nice food. Waiters were super kind, we were served fast and also got appetizers for the short wait, on the house.
