The food is exceptionally good! If you ever will be passing by this area, book it in and enjoy.Better call before arrival, not open all weeks days in a low season.
An enchanting location, tables hidden among the ancient beams and caves beneath the structure that houses this restaurant, where local ingredients are showcased, with a focus on seasonality. The menu, including the desserts, is constantly evolving. Tagliatella rolled thinly with a rolling pin accompanied by seasonal mushrooms, squid ink cannelloni stuffed with broccoli accompanied by crispy bacon, rabbit in porchetta accompanied by diced eggplant—the latter—all accompanied by an excellent, locally sourced Aleatico, almost zero-mile and super organic! Finally, a gelato made with olive oil from the town of Cartoceto and a traditional Moretta from Fano. €85 for a bottle of wine always makes a difference in the final bill, so be the judge! A truly delightful experience.
A truly charming and wonderful inn nestled among the villages of Cartoceto. My husband and I were there on Saturday evening. We ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses, a first course, a cappellaccio with vegetables, and a fillet steak with side dishes. Everything was delicious and much appreciated. Paired with a good Pergola. Prices are perhaps a little high. Service is fast and very friendly.
