I absolutely adore this restaurant! One of my favorite dishes is their chorizo with grilled onions, and their tortas are a must-try!
The best tacos and service in Carthage can be found at this restaurant. The torta is also delicious. However, I was a bit surprised by the use of canned corn and parmesan cheese in the elotes instead of fresh or frozen corn and queso fresco which would be much tastier. Despite this, the service is excellent and the owners are great.
The food and the staff were fantastic. I was very satisfied with my experience. The only issue I had was locating a parking spot.
My family and I recently moved into the neighborhood and decided to try out this restaurant today. The food was absolutely delicious and left us wanting more, and the service was outstanding! We will definitely be returning soon!
I have always been a fan of Nene's. I enjoy everything I have tried there, but my top choices are the torta and the beef guiso plate. The staff is incredibly friendly and the prices are very fair. In my opinion, it is the best Mexican food spot in Carthage. I recommend calling ahead just in case they are busy!
