Hardee's - Carterville
Hardee's
Description
Hardee's has drawn a variety of responses from patrons, showcasing both the highs and lows of dining at this fast-food establishment. While some diners relish the timely service and hot food—with favorites like the Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders receiving accolades—others express frustration over service inconsistencies and disheveled food presentation. Reports of slow drive-thru times, unprofessional staff interactions, and concerns over cleanliness mar the overall experience. Nonetheless, the warmth of the staff, particularly the general manager, and the welcoming atmosphere have earned some loyal customers, making Hardee's a bustling local hub for breakfast and lunch amidst its challenges.

Ordered there 4 dollar deal and got home to find my double cheese burgers lacked any meat when I called they laughed didn't offer to correct mistake.
They promise a receipt, but when I asked for one, they told me I couldn't have it. I inquired why, and they said they don't provide receipts. I asked if there was a manager or someone I could speak to, but the person at the window insisted there was no one available. As I was leaving, another employee nearly collided with my car while speeding away. It seems they only hire people who shouldn't be working with the public. I won't be returning. Food rating: 3.
C'mon it's still Hardee's. Food was hot and timely even though the place was packed. I mean everyone was there. I thought I'd pop in and grab some breakfast sandwiches for the crew at 7 am-parking lot brimming and no less than 30 people inside. Locals, older folk just hee-hawing bout what's the latest in the greater Carter-Crainville area. You couldn't swing a cat without hitting a spry octogenarian. The place to be at 7am on a Monday for miles around. 3 or 4 employees making it look easy with quick efficiency-good team behind the counter. You can get to $25 without drinks and still not fill 4 bellies...looking for that dollar menu.
