Los Reyes is a solid Mexican place that won't make anyone's Top Ten but will probably offer something for everyone to enjoy at a reasonable price. I've been there several times and have never experienced a very long wait, even on weekends, and have had no complaints about service. In terms of ambiance, the only complaint I have is that occasional there is a clown in there who's a lot more sad than merry, and that's a bit weird. Otherwise, it's a standard Mexican restaurant, bigger than most, with a full bar and a lot of seating. The menu is enormous, and even those on restricted diets will probably be able to find several options. Their tacos, burritos, enchiladas and other Mexican standards come served on warm plates with rice and beans, often covered in cheese sauce. Chips are warm and not too salty.

We visited from out of town for lunch. The atmosphere was inviting. The service was friendly and fast. The chips were warm and salsa was fresh. We had the beef chimichanga with black beans for lunch and fried ice cream for desert. It was wonderful. Olé Los Reyes 5 in Cartersville!
We have been eating at this restaurant for years but EVERYTIME we get a take out order it 's messed up. When I gave my orders, I repeated them again THEN asked the girl Lauren ? to repeat it back to me which she did. This time they forgot the cheese dip, which I ordered and she repeated back to me, my husband ordered the Sizzling Fajitas but they forgot to put the flour tortillas in. My Daughter in law ordered Fajitas Rancheras with no beef and NO salad, pick de Gallo, sour cream or guacamole this also came with flour tortillas. What she GOT was everything BUT tortillas. My son ordered the Quesadillas 2 is how it 's listed one the menu, with 2 flour tortillas cooked with peppers onions it said. He wanted beef with no peppers, or salad. What he GOT was ONE PLAIN quesadilla, nothing but beef! Mine was the ONLY order that was correct. They gave us 1 tiny bag of chips and 1 tiny cup of salsa for 4 people. I called them when we got the order to tell them of all the screw ups and Lauren ? said If you come back we 'll give them to you ! I told her, It 's a 20 minute drive there, then wait on them to get everything together and a 20 minute drive back home! Then the food her would be cold! She told me to come in another day and we 'd handle it, just tell them you talk to someone, I told her I wanted her name she mumbled it It 's why there is a ? next to her name but was more than happy to give me the managers name. Layren ? took the order, SHE should have checked it when it came out to see if it was right. My husband started to check it but they rushed him out. This place is not worth the hassle of constantly having orders screwed up. Another place where the employees don 't give a dang about customer service. Now my husband has to take part of his lunch hour to go back to the resturant to get the credit back on his credit card...and he even tipped them $5!! A WASTE OF TIME!!!
I dined at this restaurant two days in a row. On Friday evening, we ordered 2 servings of Shrimp Nachos and 1 Chicken Nachos. The dishes were mediocre and poorly prepared; there was hardly any cheese sauce and the ingredients were just haphazardly thrown onto the chips. The service on Friday was good. However, when I returned for lunch on Saturday, the Shrimp Nachos seemed to be made by a completely different chef. There were noticeable inconsistencies in the quality of the food from one day to the next. The Shrimp quesadilla was delicious, but it arrived without guacamole. After our server brought our food, he disappeared and we had to search for someone else to bring us guacamole. When our original server didn't return to the dining area, we asked another server for help, but he told us he couldn't assist us and that we had to find our server. The Taco Salad was missing salsa but was overall tasty. The main issue on Saturday was the poor service.
