What User doesn't like about La Ola:
We went for tapas. We ordered prawns in mayo. It was just potato salad with 3 tiny prawns in. Also ordered cod tortilla. It was a thin round biscuit size piece of batter. And we ordered sausages. We got 2 round balls of something that tasted nothing like meat. It was horrid. Then they tried to over charge us. We asked for a paper bill to check and then they said it was a mistake. Paradisiacal enclave in the best area of the coast of light. excellent kitchen and very correct treatment, especially reference in human quality and close attention of the ximena waitress
É um restaurante muito bom, com um menu variado e com ingredientes frescos. Muito bom e uma boa relação qualidade preço. Henry, que é dono da bondade e faz com que o cliente volte. Eu recomendo.
We had a fantastic meal, in the most beautiful location, right on the beach! The coquinas and the grilled tuna were truly out of this world. Johnny was our waiter, and he was awesome. Highly recommended spot!
We loved this place and found the service to be really good on a relatively quiet Monday night. The food was really delicious, especially the fantastic fresh fish it's a fishing village after all. Do be aware you pay per 100 gram and fish is not a set price. The only things on the menu possibly frozen were the fries. Desert was also very good. We had swordfish and Dorado which is not so easy to find in the UK and certainly not this fresh/big so was happy to pay a little more. It's also the oldest restaurant in the village apparently.
I had lunch here with my wife and two small children. I had a hilarious series of exchanges with the waiter (terrible Spanish from me, terrible English from him), who was very patient and accommodating. I nearly got what I ordered! We ate on the town side of the restaurant, but there is a pleasant seating area to the from with great views over the sandy gently-shelving banks of the estuary. Food was nice, staff were friendly. It was slightly pricey for what we had, but tasty (lamb chops were lovely). I cant in all honestly rate this as very good as we had a basic experience through choice because of the kids, but perfectly good place to stop for lunch
