There are few things more enchanting then sitting on top of the wall in the old city at night. The lights, the people, the sounds of the sea! Sipping a drink as you people watch. Breathtaking! Service is slow as there are many tables and few waitstaff. Drinks are just average and prices a bit steep ... but never the less this is an experience not to be missed! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Casa Del Mar:
Great place to watch sunset, very crowded! It was a pretty nice atmosphere to hang out and have a drink though a little windy. However, the crowd was all tourists and the drinks were a total ripoff. Super expensive and crappy (20,000 for a pina colada that tasted like off the shelf mix). We barely drank our drinks. View all feedback.
The lookout is fantastic and the drinks are good, but the average cocktail will lead them around $25,000 $30,000 pesos. if they are short after a look, they should pack a 6-pack beer from the deck and pack a place on the...wall right in front of the restaurant. they get the view, the music and more money in their pocket.
The hotel is located on the wall surrounding the city, this is a great place to take the sunset, relax and have a drink. they go there early, as it fills up quickly, and they go at night, because there is no shadow and it will be met during the day. but, as the sun goes down, it is a great place to simply relax, and the sea breeze keeps them cool. they serve the food, but I didn't try so I can't get it.
You'll pay closer to USA prices here but it's great for sunset so I guess you're paying for the view.
Best place in the city to see the sunset, absolutely breath taking with many memories and great pictures to show off later
