Hadn't been to Asia for several years as had thought it a bit expensive for what it was. Visited twice in the last week as was pleasantly surprised by the (to me) new menu. Went once with a group of girls and then again with my husband and son. My beef teriyaki was excellent. View all feedback.
What Michael S doesn't like about Asia:
Went for a curry....this was a 100% Failure. Whilst nice place and waiter good my curry had absolutely zero chilli in it....not 1 seed.....I did search. Paid my bill a give the good waiter 10% asked why NO chilli. The response was I should ask next time!! Unbelievable...there certainly will not be a next time......why would anyone have to ask for chilli in their curry? Feel foolish that I paid anything. Zero chillies... View all feedback.
We had a take away from here while on holiday and we found the food very bland. However some friends wanted to go a second time and asked us to join them so we gave it another chance as we were eating in so May be better. We were still disappointed. Everything had no flavour and was powdery texture and very thin sauce to eat. Definitely no more visits.
Ate here with fellow golfer , we were looking for an Indian restaurant and came upon Asia by mistake , but pleased we did as our friends who found the indian were very disappointed with the meal . We on the other hand were extremely pleased with the meal at Asia . We had the Thai menu which was excellent . Asia is not cheap but if you want authentic asian cuisine this is the place to visit.
After all the hype it was a bit disappointing. Were frowned upon as we never booked. We were in and out before anything else started so no problem really. They thought so . Food was good but not brilliant. Most expensive curry I have ever eaten. Whisky expensive after dinner drink ,be warned. Staff not too welcoming on our visit.
