I discovered this restaurant in Dayton while passing through, and since I love tamales, I had to stop in. The man at the counter was very friendly. I ordered two dozen tamales to take with me, and he quickly prepared them all for my trip. He even offered me two tamales on a heated plate with some salsa verde to taste. They were fantastic! It's a shame I live in Maine, or I would come here every chance I got. View all feedback.
What Sarah Benitez doesn't like about The Lady Tamales:
I haven't purchased tamales from here in a while, and the reason is that each time I did, they were mostly masa with barely any meat. I'm talking about a very thin strip of meat in each tamale. I went back last week, and it was the same situation. I suppose nothing has changed. View all feedback.
I love this place. I've been going here for ever. The Tamales are awesome and she delivers. I go in 2x or more a week, get tacos and enchiladas. The food is always fresh and hot. Best place in Carson to go if your looking for home cooked style food and at a very good price!
