The restaurant is a charming pink themed café with multiple dining rooms. They offer vegan options and the staff is very accommodating, willing to adjust the menu to your preferences. They also have a selection of gifts available for purchase. We love the fact that there is a sister café that recently opened in Frankston. Gretel, you will love it!
You can request a vegan menu with plenty of delicious options. I tried the maisfritter and a red velvet latte, both of which were delicious and worth returning for.
Unfortunately, Settle Gretel no longer offers a separate vegan menu. They only have two vegan breakfast options, which were quite ordinary. The food was decent, and the staff were doing their best, but it was disappointing compared to previous reviews. The service was a bit lackluster at times, possibly due to some new staff members.
I ordered the vegan breakfast board for two and got to try a variety of options including garlic mushrooms, smashed avocado, mixed tomatoes, vegan cheese, hash browns, and pancakes. It was a really enjoyable breakfast for two.
