This Korean BBQ restaurant in DFW is definitely one of the best I've tried. The service here is exceptional! I dined here with a friend and we opted for the dinner set option, which included a variety of pork and beef. We were both quite hungry when we arrived, but left feeling satisfied and content. The meat was perfectly seasoned and the side dishes were delicious. I left the restaurant with the intention of return... View all feedback.
What Ivan W doesn't like about Ggui Ggui:
Decided to give this place a try instead of Ari was massively disappointed. I'm not sure what the other reviews were saying but the portion sizes and the side dishes were not satisfying. You only get macaroni salad, kimchi and a side of kimchi. If you don't order the large and order small combo you have to pick two out of 4 between steamed egg, corn cheese two stews. Never heard of a Korean bbq place not giving both.... View all feedback.
Tasty meat, but small portions for the price. They had options where you can order meat groups depending on the size of your party. Each dish was a split of 2 to 3 pieces between our party of 3. It didn't really fill us up, so we had to order more.We thought we were going to be able to cook, but the server did it all for us. Which I mean, it could be a good thing or bad. We just felt a little rushed.Atmosphere is not bad, medium size restaurant. Quite enough, where you can hear the person next to you talk. Parking was okay, not plenty, but easy to find one.The food itself was good. Nice quality pork and beef meats. Although the kimchi soup did come out bubbling and hot. I didn't like the kimchi as it was a bit too sour for my taste. I would come back here if I was eating alone, but with a group, the portions sizes are not worth it.

Never heard of a Korean bbq place not giving both. Portion sizes were small the beef meat in combo C is terrible. Meat is tough and not tasty at all. There was barely anyone in the restaurant on a weekend they never changed the grill once so the service was subpar as well. Very very disappointed
Very authentic kbbq spot, shout out to my man Liss for taking care of us! Highly
Delicious Korean barbecue with outstanding service. It wasn't crowded when we arrived, and we got lots of attention from our server and the staff. Ordering was easy because one person in our party spoke Korean, but I am sure the staff would give great advice if you were a novice diner as well. The server did keep giving me advice about which sauce to use with each meat. We were particularly impressed by the array of sides and accompaniments they served with the meal.
The place is clean and the service was prompt. However, I am surprised this place has such rave reviews. The banchan was limited the eggs were overcooked, the soups had no depth of flavor and the onions were not even cooked in the soup. We had Set C and the meat quality was poor and dry. Also, the bulgogi was overly sweet. We are used to brisket point being finely marbled. We had the opposite experience of what the reviews stated. We tried this place instead of Ari based on the reviews but it was a regrettable choice. Having lived in Los Angeles in the heart of k town, this place was such a disappointment.
