I love finding these little in the middle of nowhere places. The food was absolutely excellent. The waitress and the wait staff absolutely excellent. If you're out traveling about and you accidentally come across this place definitely stop. The atmosphere was great everybody was so friendly and talking to us you could tell they were all regulars and we were a little out of our element but it was fantastic. View all feedback.

I ordered the 8oz steak dinner. While the steak had a significant amount of gristle, the flavor was still quite good. They cooked it to a perfect medium-rare, just the way I like it, and the mushrooms complemented the dish nicely. The side dishes were expertly prepared, and the cornbread was delicious. The food was excellent, deserving a 5, but the service was a disappointment, rating a 1. Our waitress was incredibly absent; I couldn't even bring myself to leave a 10% tip. We had to track her down just to get coffee refills, and once we finally received our meals, she never came to check on us. We even had to go get our own take-home containers and ask for our bill. Normally, we have a great experience here, but that wasn't the case today.
Their pies are indeed homemade! I was initially skeptical since I’m also a pie baker, but they are absolutely worth every penny. Excellent quality and definitely worth the drive. They also offer wonderful homemade soups!

The baked cod sample was extremely overcooked, the portion size was very small, and it was dry. The kitchen staff, including the chef, clearly did not seem to care that we were very unhappy with our meal.
