Coffee shop is slightly overpriced, but nice with unfortunately curdled milk tea. Matilda in Monaghan offers seriously delicious food at reasonable prices. Lit in Carrickmacross serves fresh, tasty ciabatta sandwiches and decent coffee. Beautiful black puddingwurstrolle, while the staff is friendly and great at Matilda's. Family-run artisan bakery with outstanding food and friendly staff. Beautiful little cafe with tasty food and great coffee. One-of-a-kind cafe with impressive food and drink selection. Matilda's in Carrickmacross is a hidden gem with outstanding pastries and bread. Despite being busy, the food, coffee, and atmosphere at this restaurant are amazing.

This is probably the best bread I have ever had in the world. I will definitely be coming back now that I have found you.
I highly recommend Matildas for their fantastic sausage rolls with black pudding and brown bread.
We went to Matilda's twice on a recent trip to Monaghan. Seriously tasty food (especially the black pepper sausage rolls Nice, friendly buzz in the place and great coffee, too. Really reasonable price wise also!
Lovely spot. Called in after a friend mentioned it. Unreal bread. Great coffee and the Welsh buns are delicious. Very very impressive shop.
A beautiful selection of items but more of a cafe/ bakery. Only two seats available- very limited pricing on items, and allergens not listed. A fresh range for takeout was available.
