The pizza was beautiful, with perfect dough and sauce. The salad was fresh and stunning. The prawns were succulent and delicious. We finished off with gelato ice cream. Overall, it was a beautiful dinner overlooking the lake. The service, food, and atmosphere were all rated 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Spicy Pizza. View all feedback.
What mlotto doesn't like about Castello Italia:
There were two vegan options available: a risotto that can be made vegetarian or vegan, or a Vegan Aubergine dish. I opted for the aubergine, but was disappointed with the small portion size. However, the other dishes were generously sized. Overall, the restaurant is a nice place with excellent service. View all feedback.
Castellos is always a delight to visit and I can't wait to try their Christmas menu. They offer good gluten-free options for our daughter. Parking is easily available and the service is excellent. We had dinner there and found the price per person to be around £30-40. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top marks of 5. Some recommended dishes include the Classic Bruschetta, Margherita Arancini, Garlic Bread, Soup, Linguine Bolognese, Crispy Pork Belly Bites, Hand Cut Chips, Chicken Supreme, and Mushroom Risotto. There is plenty of parking space with options for free parking in the lot or on the street.
There were two vegan options available: a risotto that can be made either vegetarian or vegan, or a vegan eggplant dish. I opted for the eggplant, but was disappointed by the small portion size. However, all the other dishes were visually stunning and the service was excellent.

My husband and I split the antipasti for our appetizer and it was amazing. For the main course, I had roasted celeriac and my husband had mushroom risotto, which was incredibly creamy and delicious. We also shared a side of broccoli with almonds. The meal was outstanding and the table service was impeccable. The cocktail list was also great.
There were two vegan options available: a risotto that can be made vegetarian or vegan, or a vegan eggplant dish. I chose the eggplant and found the portion size to be quite small. Despite this, all of the other dishes were beautifully presented and the service was excellent.
