Carrickfergus Golf Club

There is a lack of communication and clarity at this restaurant. It is unclear if there are any events happening or if you can even make a reservation. The restaurant should update their website and events page if they want to be taken seriously as a dining establishment.

I'm hoping this was a one off as Carrick golf club was always a great place to go for a meal. But this night wasn't good. My son and I ordered steaks and chips my wife chicken and chips. Steaks were ok as was the chicken. The chips were like they had been cooked a dozen times worst I've ever had in any establishment. The place had a fee tables free so wasn't overly busy but we had to wait quite a while on our order being taken. And again our plates being cleared we had to wait ages for our bill seemed to me the staff hadn't been doing this for too long, even the chef came out of the kitchen to clarify something he didn't look happy. Sorry C.G.C but won't be returning.

Called in on spec when we were in carrickfergus for the day lovely suprise to see our old Chef from Tandragee David food was great as always,highly recommended,thanks

The food was fantastic, consistently delicious meals. The staff are friendly and always go above and beyond to assist. The views overlooking the golf course are stunning.
