Shannon Bistro - Carrick-on-shannon

We visited BR Cafe Bistro for lunch and had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Bashkim and Ramona. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting. We felt comfortable right away. We ordered the tomato and basil soup, which was delicious, along with lasagna, salad, and chips. The lasagna had an authentic Italian taste, and the penne pasta with mushrooms and cream sauce was wonderful. It was the best lasagna I have ever had, and my partner almost ordered a second portion of pasta. For dessert, we had a warm brownie with ice cream and a sky roulade, both of which were delicious. To top off our meal, we enjoyed a fantastic cup of coffee. The coffee blend at BR Cafe Bistro is excellent, with a smooth and sweet flavor that doesn't even need sugar. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone passing through Carrick-on-Shannon. The food at this restaurant is perfectly fresh and aromatic! The steak is unparalleled, truly the best in the world. I would give it ten stars if I could. Overall, an excellent restaurant with beautifully prepared dishes. I highly recommend it to all visitors. Another ten stars from me!
