Venable Rotisserie Bistro - Carrboro

During a peaceful lunch hour, the service was slow but friendly. The fish taco was underwhelming and came with a large side of fries. Tacos and fries together? On the other hand, the Korean soup was delicious.

Always a pleasant experience. Menu is great. Never feel rushed.

Difficult to hear what my date was saying, indoor seating was very loud.

Rude front staff. We were stuck in traffic trying to find our way quicker to restaurant. They called at 15 min past our res and asked if we still wanted our reservation then thanked me for letting them know? Let my wife out to hurry to the table. They tried to seat her at the bar in someone else’s seat with menus then left her there. Cold shouldered us when I came in from the parking lot and my wife was walking back to the front after being abandoned at the bar. Bizarre. We were 16 min late. Been going here for years. Not sure we’re going back.

The noise level at the restaurant was loud, but luckily our waitress kindly relocated us to a quieter table. The food was delicious.
