Marechiaro Pizzeria Bisteccheria

You really wouldn’t know to look for a pizzeria here if you didn’t know from TripAdvisor that one should be located here. We happened upon this place by chance as the pizza place we had wanted to go to was miserably empty and we didn’t want to be the only customers eating there. So we looked for other options nearby and were directed to Marechiara. What a great place! Full of locals and the menu is exclusively in Italian but the choice of pizza really knocks the breath out of you. There’s literally dozens of scrumptious sounding pizzas and they come out of the oven so fresh and hot, oozing with tomato sauce and cheese... simply divine. Take the trouble to find it, it’s in a residential area, and you won’t regret it! The only thing you might regret is eating way too much...

Despite not being Italian speakers, we were made very welcome and had delightful service. One of us had the calzone, which was huge and very nice. One of us had the steak which was good (not great). The steak was however accompanied by some nice vegetables and what was without a shadow of a doubt the best focaccia we have ever had. If they had just given us all you can eat focaccia we would have been very happy. We would definitely recommend this place.

We had a big pizza for a good price, which also tasted fantastic. The dessert was also good and the waiters were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you like delicious food for a good price

Personal service, no menu but proposals of the day. We had seafood pasta wich was a tasteful choice. We were alone in the restaurant wich mad us worry about the quality but it was all great!
