The shrimp quesadilla, chips and salsa, and blood orange margarita were all so delicious and fresh. The service was great as well. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was $20–30. View all feedback.
What Garrick Walker doesn't like about Delgado's:
Poor service and bland food.We waited about 15 min to order while our server talked to two other tables with people she knew. We ordered an enchilada plate to share and an ala cart taco, the taco didn't come with the dinner so I ordered it again and it still never showed. There was absolutely nothing to write home about with the food we did get, bland and boring. Best. always. no sweat! this place is incredible! eating is amazing (checking the tritip tacos) and the personal is the best. 5 begins all day. I was 4 days in town, I ate here 3 of them.
Came from San Diego on a Saturday night. It's late, cold, we're tired. Still have around an hour and a half to get to our hotel in SLO. This owner/manager with the glasses is such the sweet heart. He showed us he really cared by taking care of us by doing above and beyond with the service he did for us. Thanks so much!!

This was our first time stopping in this town to do business and Delgado's was recommended. The place is sub-par for this area, women's restroom was flooded and disgusting to the point of out of order... mentioned to waiter who rather could care less. On to the food, chips were good and warm, salsa was not bad, the combination plate, taco, tamale and enchilada were just ok, tamale was lots of mass, taco was ok, enchilada was bland, so was the rice, beans had a burnt taste. When we ordered, the plate was $15.99, when the check came, waiter charged $17.99 and I ask before order do you charge for chicken in the enchilada, he said no... but he was wrong and said I just push the buttons on checkout register. This place is basically what a white person would say wow... it was great, not someone who's been south of the boarder and knows the right taste. 2 stars for me out of 5. Sorry but I expected better for that price but then again... we were in Santa Barbara area.
The place was packed on a Tuesday night, and rightfully so! We ordered a fajita plate and fried ice cream. All of the food was amazing and the server Lainey was amazing! I totally recommend this spot when you're craving Mexican food.
