They found us a table but gave us 1 hour as the table was reserved, they served us delicious food the service was outstanding. I will go back when I’m not looking at the clock. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!!! Siamo andate sabato sera senza prenotazione. Hanno dato il tavolo abbiamo mangiato. Tutto ottimo il cibo, il vino , lo staff. Ritorno di sicuro.

The large square (Reinassance) in the center, one of the largest in my region, with a long “porticato” on one side is an absolute beauty. Have a coffee and imagine the scene 600 years back. Back to the food. We were invited for dinner by a friend of mine who knows this place fairly well. Traditional cuisine from the area (Emilia- known for the prosciutto, parmesan cheese, culatello, sausages, and many other food related products that keep Italy still afloat). Our dinner follow the classical script: gnocco fritto, affettati, parmesan cheese with aged (25 years) balsamic vinegar followed by a sample of three different filled pastas. No space for any more food. Limoncello and nocino to wrap up the dinner. I didn’t pay so I can’t comment on the price. Service was nice, prompt. All family and very cordial. Everything was very good and we had a very enjoyable dinner. If this is ranked 23rd in Carpi (maybe 70,000 souls) I can’t imagine what the others can do. For people not familiar with real tortelli, ravioli, parmesan cheese, prosciutto, etc have a taste and a treat in this restaurant.
