Half an hour in, when I called, the waitress said, “Patience”. When the waitress finally came to our table and I asked about sandwiches she said “This is not England; you cannot get those here”. Five salad orders received foot minuscule circles of baguette. Sadly, this place will always have a steady stream of customers because it is in the busy market area. What a sad experience. No health and safety; no lights on the stairs going up to the toilets; one ladies toilet and one gents for 300 covers; no toilet seat, toilet for did not lock. A travesty.

At the entrance of Caroentras town entrance. You can come with news paper and enjoy your coffee and read in style in this cafe front . Locals comes here for drink , coffee and lunch . They do serve set manu plus other items . We were there 3 times . Really good food . Propriétaire Betty and staff looks after customers very well . Excellent price . This is probably best cafe in Carpentras. Lovely spot opposite weekly market spot
