I'd heard that, when in doubt while traveling, head for a Chinese restaurant. This is more Thai-Vietnamise, and it was a refreshing change from the usual Provencal food (which we do love). We had different dishes with rice; all had different flavors sauces...and were quite good. Portions were generous and the prices were low for the high quality fresh vegetables, good meat. What Alain Gros doesn't like about La Perle d'Asie:
This is really a two a half rather than a three. The food is just ok and pretty much the same as almost all the other French/Asian restaurants that we keep trying in the hope of being delightfully surprised. Bonne cuisine , même si erreur sur la commande , mais table minuscules et chaise très inconfortable, pas de clim , il fait tres chaud et cela est tres desagreable !
Vaste carte dee platss asiatiques. Les plats sont savoureux et généreux. Accueil fort agréable. Emplacment parfait en centre ville de la belle villed e Carpentras.
Tarif très correct. Cuisine traditionnelle et faite sur place. Belle terrasse l'été. Accueil agréable.
Personnel accueillant, cuisine excellente , bon rapport qualité , prix. La dorade Sébaste au SATÉ , un délice . Je recommande ce restaurant asiatique .
