As it is one of the restaurants in the area open on a Tuesday we booked and were pleasantly surprised. If I could give 4 and a half stars I would. We had the three courses for 30€ supplement of 2€ for assiette gourmandise and with that we had olives and a tartine free. So good value and good wine, the carafe of red particularly. 3 of us had the tarte of black olives with slices of foie gras pate (good and substantial... View all feedback.
What chrichen doesn't like about La Figuiere:
The five of us went to La Figuiere for the first time for our lunch. So, our expectation is not very high. Upon arriving at the restaurant it was just by the main road. Firstly, though the parking space is limited , we managed to find a place not very far from the restaurant to park the car. As we enter the dining area we were pleasantly surprised by the simple decoration but yet modern. The waitress served us well w... View all feedback.
Our favourite restaurant in the area. Good value 3course lunch. 17E. Small restaurant, husband and wife team. Love their tapenade. healthy starter, asparagus. Fish main course on Friday excellent. Squeezed a profiterole in ag the end. Smiling
We had an amazing meal here for 8 people. Of the highest quality. The flavour combinations were out of this world. Highly recommended. The cheese trolley is fantastic. Overall good value for money and an asset for Caromb

So good value and good wine, the carafe of red particularly. 3 of us had the tarte of black olives with slices of foie gras pate (good and substantial) and one had pea veloute with truffle, also good. For mains, duck with peaches and lovely carre de porcelet. The excellent and substantial assiette of four small puddings -the rum baba was significantly rummy- finished meal. Service was friendly and very helpful with wines I didn’t recognise. We left full and contented.
What a gem. We were a party of 9 and all raves about their meals. The appetizers, entrees and desserts were uniformly excellent and nicely presented. I had a white fish I never previously had and it was inventive and delicious. We expect to return before we depart Caromb because this was as delicious as any meal we have had in Provence.
We went to the family during our caromb holiday following the praiseworthy reviews and we were totally disappointed! We ordered lobsters and when the boss brought us the plate, the smell was unsustainable! The so-called lobsters were damaged! We called the boss asking him to cook something else because his lobsters were rotten. the latter told us that we were not the only ones to complain!??? She didn't apologize and didn't make any commercial gestures, not even a drink for the house! We'll never go back there again!
