Joy Of Tokyo Augusta Street

As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I noticed that the lady behind the counter was sitting and eating. She continued eating even after I approached the counter, and I was never greeted, which should have been a warning sign. I ordered the Hibachi Steak Shrimp, and it was awful. Just a heads up, there is an extra charge if you don't want broccoli. It had been a few years since I last ate here, and my previous experience was not great, but I decided to give them another chance. The rice seemed old, the veggies were bland, and the steak had no flavor. The shrimp was the only decent part of the dish, and even the white sauce was tasteless. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I won't be returning to Joy of Tokyo. They fooled me once, but never again. #thumbsWayyyyDown.

I tried this restaurant for the first time and I'm happy I did! The food smells delicious and tastes great. There are many options for customization and my order arrived quickly. The delivery was a bit messy as some juices spilled, but thankfully the bag contained it.
