Buzz's Roost is located directly on the boardwalk in Carolina Beach and offers a bar area, indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is very laid-back, as one would anticipate. While many of the restaurants along the boardwalk are just average, Buzz's Roost pleasantly surprised me. Their menu is extensive, featuring sandwiches, wraps, wings, tacos, salads, and some pricier options. I particularly enjoyed the Angry Ahi Tuna Tacos and the calamari. I believe they only serve beer in cans, but they do offer local beers on the menu. They also have a full bar, although I only tried the beer. I highly recommend giving Buzz's Roost a try.
I give this restaurant a perfect score of 5 for both service and atmosphere.
