This is the only restaurant in Carnarvon that advertises vegan options on HappyCow. They serve standard pub food. The presentation of the "Chickpea Burger" was lovely with fancy swirling. We ordered the chickpea burger but received veggie patties instead. We weren't informed that they were out of chickpeas. This country pub offers a variety of vegan options, which is impressive for a small town. We tried the flavorful but very spicy ratatouille and the delicious risotto. The bruschetta as a starter was simple and tasty. The serving sizes were generous and the staff was friendly. The beer garden had a stunning view and was smoke-free, making for a pleasant dining experience.
The only vegan options available are salad and bruschetta on the menu.
This is the only restaurant in Carnarvon that offers vegan options according to Happy Cow. The food is standard pub fare. The fancy onions in the "chickpea burger" were tasty. However, when we ordered chickpea burgers, we received vegetable patties instead without being informed that they were out of chickpea patties. Upon reflection, we suspect they may have used Birds Eye Bubble Squeak Vegetable Patties. Hopefully, this is not the case as those patties contain cow's milk. This pub in a rural town offers a variety of vegan options. We tried the Ratatouille, which was delicious but quite spicy, and the risotto, which was enjoyable. The bruschetta we had as a starter was light and tasty. The portion sizes were generous and the staff were friendly. The beer garden had beautiful views and was smoke-free, making for a pleasant dining experience.
