California Burrito - Carmichael

I usually come here for the fresh juice Tbh, but I also love the shrimp quesadilla. They contain more grilled vegetables here than, say, Adalberto's Aldanberto's etc. It's worth me (I love grilled veg). I just wish there was one closer to my home or work.

The best in the area. Would not visit any other 24/7 connection nearby. I have the Carne Asada Burrito and Quesadilla. I love the Burrito and it was HUGE! I didn't love the queen because it was a bit fat.

I love this place. The staff is always friendly... their tacos are so good. Came for Taco Tuesday... the streets tacos are only 1.50. You can choose grilled or shredded chicken... Beef or carnitas I believe. I ordered 3 grilled chicken with onion and cilantro. The meat was tender and very tasteful. The tortillas were fresh and the garnish. They offer free chips and salsa bar with any order. It has a few different salsas and the crema is so good. I love the stuff. They also serve grilled onions and peppers that are amazing in the taco. Sunday they have crispy tacos for 1 50, which are just as good. The Churros are always fresh ..you can order regularly or they have stuffed with vanilla and caramel. You have many drinks options freshly pressed juices... water... soda well.. other frescas. The food is served quite quickly, so the turn around time is fast when you are in a hurry. I didn't try anything else because I came for the Tacos.

It was almost 9 p.m., and we wanted a bite before driving for a couple of hours. We had never been to California Burrito and were surprised at the excellent quality and reasonable prices. They also have a complimentary salsa bar. Their drive-through is open 24 hours.The only thing I didn’t like was that they served their food in styrofoam.

The pozole was terrific and large! Generous serving size for toppings as well. They needed us to pull around to wait for our order and that was more than difficult in our large truck. Great if you’re in a car!Food: 5/5
