Location, outdoor seating and the service are the best things this restaurant has to offer. The sangria and crab cakes were really good too. The salmon was just ok. I believe it needs more flavor to it. Nice place to spend time with friends and drink a couple pitchers of sangria. View all feedback.

Service was underwhelming, food wasn't great-undercooked Brussels (admittedly good seasoning), spicy pimento cheese dip was mild and very much Velveeta-esque, crab Rangoon tacos had strong fishy flavor, grilled tarragon chicken was tough and dry enough to send back and the sauce was pretty bland. Interior decor is extremely minimal and bland as well, worth noting is a large amount of patio seating. I've seen great re... View all feedback.
Gorgeous outdoor patio cute atmosphere! We were seated immediately, but waited for 19 minutes before anyone came to our table. Three tables that were seated after us received water immediately and placed orders before us. Our table was right in the middle of the patio you couldn’t miss us and there were no fewer than six staff members who walked by us multiple times. We asked the hostess about service after 15min, and it was another 5min before anyone came over. The food itself was disappointing. The pimento cheese had good flavor, but was much runnier than it should have been. It was also served with delicious naan but only enough to consume less than half the cheese.I am a sucker for shrimp and grits if it’s on a menu, I order it. The Charleston shrimp and grits was just ok. Shrimp was very over cooked, and extra fishy. The sauce was SO rich, and there was way too much of it. The sausage was better than the shrimp the grits were fine, but not excellent. The low country boil was very potato heavy. Shrimp was also over cooked and fishy. The dipping butter tasted like fake movie theater butter.Overall, I wouldn’t go back here. The setting was enjoyable, but while the menu prices appeared reasonable, for the quality, the price is not worth it.
This place is great! Delicious food, really nice wait staff, and a lovely outdoor patio, right in downtown Carmel. They have great lunch/brunch drinks, a kids' menu, and a nice location, plus parking. Will definitely be back!
Very dry, under seasoned, and rude customer service. Hated my lunch, so upset i spent my hard earned money on it. the hummingbird cake is delicious and i will recommend it. I called the restaurant and expressed my frustration with the Sea island platter, to Maddyline the waitress but she had an attitude and rushed me off the phone.Vegetarian options: very dry, under seasoned. Hated my lunch
Very good food. However, disappointed in getting seated as a walk up. 90 min wait. Young lady over heard that we had to get going and leave. And she immediately ask us for our name and stated that we were next. Maybe we should of stated that we were leaving sooner. Otherwise, it was good food and great service.
My group of 7 enjoyed our experience. The shares appetizers of fried green tomatoes, corn bread and Brussel sprouts was excellent. The garden salad wasfresh tasting. I got the Buffalo Mac and cheese which was good but the chicken was slightly chewy for my taste. My boyfriend had the hummingbird cake which he said was excellent. We sat outside which was great but the air conditioner was close by and kind of loud
