great little deli café. owner was brilliant offer sound, unpretentious consulting and not for sale. generous portion sizes. we had tomato and red pfeffer soup with fresh bread and a decent part of the local cheese. our for a walk then again for homemade cakes and coffee together with a few deli bits for the evening. definitely worth a visit. What debirchall doesn't like about The Ferryman:
Very small with only a few tables/seats. Ignored when we first entered but eventually told there was no room, although we felt with a little reorganisation we could have been accommodated. Shame because four of us were ready to order lunch, but we took our custom elsewhere! View all feedback.
Fantastic small place, friendly cafe owners we have come in a long time. had the best victoria sponge that we had and made of the owner mother, so it is a family affinity. highly recommended to go there if they are in the opposite. pic is laugharne burg

We popped in for a coffee and what a treat it was. It is a small cafe with a deli out the back, so the smells are amazing. The ginger cake was the best I've eaten in years and the slice of coffee cake was huge. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and it's clearly a hit with locals who too were chatty without being intrusive. We ended up leaving with some fabulous homemade pies (I would call them small quiches) which were delicious. Can't wait to pop in again.
Excellent fresh home cooked tapas food. Wonderful Friday night experience eating fresh tapas at the ferryman’s. Usually visit for the best coffee and cake in Laugharne but had the privilege to experience a tapas night. Delicious authentic tapas food cooked to perfection accompanied by very well priced Rioja from their store. Book in for Friday tapas or simply enjoy lunch , coffee or cakes. Highly recommended
Visited Laugharne on way back to Essex after a holiday in St. Florence (at the amazing Fiddlers Green Cottage! . Was directed to this little gem where we received a friendly welcome and had good coffee and tea and very good cakes the best chocolate brownie ever had, was the verdict. The deli is well stocked and apparently well used by locals. Wish we had time to stay for lunch as the menu looked delicious maybe next time!
