We made a reservation to celebrate a birthday on New Year's Day, only to be told upon arrival that the table had not been reserved for us because the pub had not heard from us. Despite our booking, the table was not decorated at 3pm as requested. When booking, we asked about decorating the table and received a hesitant response. Had breakfast here yesterday. brilliant service, beautiful atmosphere and good food. personal always friendly and helpful.

Had a nice late lunch here, very nice terrace area, difficult to eat a place with outside area. large portions and a lot of choice. below, no parking space.
Been visited this pub 4 many years,still the best mixed grill in southwest wales personal are brilliant nothing too much effort for joanne amber,big meal today again 4 aug half price deal great bonus back next to wk deffo. robbie pauline llanelli.
I've really missed eating out in a relaxed and old fashioned Restaurant ! Lol This town pub has got things just right ! I believe one of the hardest jobs, out there,now, is the Publican's ! Apart from The Security Guard's Role ! The majority...of customers who drink do not eat ! So its important to keep the two sections apart ! In my personal opi0nion !Maybe we could drink in one bar and the drinkers drink in another ? Lol Then we can both let our hair down! Lol. Amber and Joanne, the two ladies that served us, were so professional, and Friendly ,to me and my disabled friend, from Burry Port ! It was a very rainy day so we got our orders in quic ? Lol. Thank you, both of you , at making us, 2 x non alcohol drinkers,and also, both drivers,feel so welcome! We both enjoyed, our MEALS and my friend, kept commenting, on her portion of Scampi ! Lol It was huge ! I had a Rump steak with Chips and peas and some salad. It was cooked just how, I like it ! Medium.rare ! Thank you, All.OF YOU , at the New STAGs Head , in Carmarthen !
