Description

Nestled away from the town center, this fish and chip shop offers a blend of experiences. While some patrons have enjoyed delightful portions of freshly cooked fish, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere, others have encountered disappointing meals with soggy pastries and reheated chips. Notably, the establishment goes the extra mile by catering to gluten-free diets, ensuring a safe dining option for those with dietary restrictions. Customers appreciate the cleanliness and accommodating staff, making for a warm environment ideal for takeaways or casual dining. Overall, this chippy may be worth a visit, but expectations should be tempered.

This chippy with a cafe is absolutely delightful. The staff is very friendly, and the fish and chips are delicious. I got takeaway for myself and my grandchildren to enjoy in the park nearby. The prices are good and the food is fresh and hot. Highly recommend!

We stopped by this small fish and chip shop on our way to the West. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering gluten-free options such as fish, chips, sausages, and fish fingers. My wife was delighted with her meal and said it was the best fish and chips she's had in years. They even kindly gave our dog some water, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning soon to this lovely fish and chip shop.

The food at this restaurant is awful. The fish was oily and the fries were the worst I've ever had. The only decent thing was the mushy peas. The atmosphere felt like a run-down train station.
