A great place for the meat lover. Choose from a selection of various meat dishes and sides and build up your fantastic tasting plate to share with friends. The place is basic but trendy. Staff are friendly and very helpful and the food is very tasty. On top of this there is a good range of draft beer which complement the meal.In summary, friendly, atmospheric and good food at a reasonable price. View all feedback.

the curtin lies opposite the victorian trades hall. it is named for john curtin, Australian Wartime Prime Minister. his fight with alcohol was known, it is a little inappropriate to call a pub after him. this in one of the few pubs of the working class in melbourne. View all feedback.
This is my favorite spot in Melbourne! I have been to numerous events here and always enjoy myself. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere in the pub is fantastic. The food is also amazing! I tried the fried chicken burger and it was packed with flavor.
The clientele at The Curtin consists mainly of tradespeople and students from nearby. Although the pub may have changed hands over the years, I keep coming back for the delicious food they serve. Their menu doesn't change much, so it's worth keeping an eye out for any updates.
An absolute gem this one. Had the Sonny Burger which is one of the better burgers I’ve had in Melbourne the chicken, bun and slaw was amazing. The venue itself is a classic rock ‘n roll themed pub sticky floors, live music, smell of beer. Can’t wait to get back.
I recently visited a nostalgic pub with live music and decided to order the fried chicken while enjoying some drinks before a show. Although the wait was a bit lengthy, it was definitely worth it. The fried chicken was tender, juicy, and crispy - hands down the best I've ever had.
One of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had! Still thinking about it long after eating it! Good friendly service, food was quick to come out. Definitely coming back again to try more of the menu out.
