we went to brunch and there was confusion, so no server until I asked for help. our server apologised very much and we caught up on the speed. they seemed quite new in the industry to say they could not make melada, but if they have **** mary mix and beer, limettes and hot sauce, they can work it with or without the clamato. but eating quickly came out and the prices are reasonable. we loved the live music and the ar... What MarisaB doesn't like about The Landings:
They had a band playing, which was great, however, service was very slow, it took an hour for me to get my steak sandwich and my husband to get his chicken sandwich, when it finally came out, it was cold, we sent it back and they brought out hot ones five minutes later. Very interesting. we were also dining with another couple and she ordered brussel sprouts for an appetizer and they brought that out an hour after sh... View all feedback.
Great place, great music, great food. Bands can be loud for some people. Dress warmly in the winter even though there are heaters.
Fantastic place for great music w seating outside. The drinks are great and food delicious and the prices very reasonable too! Andrea was very attentive and friendly. She recommended some great entrees! I had the strip steak that was cooked exactly how I wanted and so delicious. My husband loved the Salmon. We come here from Orange County and are NEVER disappointed.Of course we will be back!!
We went for brunch and live music and overall, it was a great experience. The only thing that detracted from a 5 star rating was that because we were a party of two, we were told we could only sit in one area of the patio—which was shaded, cold and windy. So we had to keep our heavy jackets on throughout the meal—and look longingly at those patrons sitting in the sun ; (BTW, we chose outdoor seating because that’s where the musicians were. Food was good and our server was amazing, however!
When we arrived to the restaurant, we were escorted to our reserved table and some patrons were sitting there that were not part of our party. The hostess looked confused and puzzled when we informed her the people at our table were not part of our group. A server stepped in to help the hostess figure out what’s going on. Once these patrons were moved, we realized that there were no heaters reserved for us and it was real chilly. No amount of bundling would have helped us get warm. There were some heaters that were 3 feet away from each other that other patrons were using. They refused to bring one of them to us. If it wasn’t for the band (Love is a Rose) that was playing there, we would have left and gone elsewhere to dine. We ended up sitting separately near some of our other friends to attempt to stay warm. We all were dressed warm. Our server was attentive. Our food got cold fast as there were no heaters in close proximity and it was real chilly. The band was fantastic. I highly recommend that additional heaters be purchased to make sure that all patrons are enjoying their experience. I would like to encourage the restaurant to reserve heaters for reserved tables in the winter and reserve umbrellas for reserved tables in the summertime.
Fun venue, very attentive hosts and servers, good bands.
