they were here twice in our socal holiday. for the first time for fabulous seafood tacos and fresh fish from the market. 2 nights worth fresh fish and both were fantastic. ends our hikes in torrey pines and decided to refresh here for more couples meal times. the yellow **** was simply added to the case and was so fresh. tomorrow is the sea bass, cannot wait! great place for dunes and fresh catch. super friendly serv... Used to be a loyal customer. Staff is repeatedly not adhering to current California mask mandate. I will not return until management enforces the mask mandate for their staff. Sorry Sam’s widow, you need to get tough on your staff. You ask your customers to do it, you need to ask your staff to do it too. View all feedback.
I have dined at this restaurant about six times or more. I always hope for a good meal, but unfortunately it never delivers. I typically order the fish sandwich while my wife orders the fish plate. The sandwich is consistently dry and the bread tastes stale. While the prices are lower than at Kings, the quality of the food just doesn't compare. After giving them seven chances, I have decided to stop dining here.
Pelly's is fantastic! My friends from Santa Barbara recently relocated to San Diego and our search for delicious seafood led us to Pelly's. The dishes are simply prepared yet taste incredibly fresh. The atmosphere and service are both excellent, making it an ideal spot for gatherings with friends.
I enjoyed the halibut sandwich and crab cakes very much. The sandwich was hearty and the fish was so fresh. The tartar sauce is excellent. They should bottle it! The crab cakes were delicious with a generous amount of crab and just the right amount of seasoning.
Ordering is at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Fresh and delicious!
Seafood is fresh. A better beer selection, like IPAs, would be nice.
