What User doesn't like about Hacienda De Vega:
I really wanted to like this place because of the raving reviews I had heard from when they were in Escondido but the food and hibiscus drink was VERY underwhelming. The entrance can be a bit difficult to locate, even if you're aware of its existence. I actually ended up using what I later discovered was the back door. I am looking forward to returning to this neighborhood spot next time.
We came here at lunchtime on a weekday and we're immediately seated. It started off so good with the most amazing chips we've ever had and great salsa. However pricing was very high $24 for burrito, soda, and tip) and th burrito was just bland and soggy. We'd come back for the chips but not the food....
