Melt-in-your-mouth Rib Eye Steak and fresh Carlsbad strawberries in salad! Unexpected delicious food for a non-describing small restaurant in a hotel lobby. We'll be back.
We were in town for the Carlsbad Marathon and didn't feel like fighting crowds at the local restaurants. For what we would have considered a limited service hotel, the restaurant offered a full service atmosphere, menu and great food. It is right off the lobby so the ambience is not a wow but it was a very nice meal and a quick elevator ride home.
Nice restaurant, casual atmosphere, both indoor outdoor dining. Here for lunch, nice menu choices. Food well prepared, fresh ingredients, tasty, nice portion size. Server attentive, knew menu well, personable. Close to the ocean, but not ocean view. If you are looking for a casual, quiet atmosphere and good food, this restaurant worth the trip.
Typical low end hotel food and service. Thought it would be better, but not as expected. Acceptable, but could do better.
