Fantastic buffet for both kids and adults with all of the usual buffet breakfast foods. Nothing that stands out but also nothing that was horrible. Most importantly, you can’t complain when the breakfast is included in the Legoland hotel fee and beats the absurd prices of food at the park. View all feedback.
What Jermaine Goodwin doesn't like about Bricks Family Legoland California Resort:
There weren’t many options for kids, and the pizza was hard while the mac and cheese was excessively thick. Everything seemed as if it had been sitting out for a long time, even though we arrived at 5 PM when the restaurant opened. View all feedback.
The dining area has a limited number of seats, which restricts the selection of diners.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I didn’t have high expectations, but it turned out to be quite good, and I certainly got my money’s worth—I even went back for seconds! The reservation system appeared to be operating smoothly; while it was a bit of a hassle to book, I understand how helpful it is during peak season. The service was good, with friendly waitstaff who cleared tables promptly. It seems like the décor could use a bit of a refresh, but it’s probably fine for families with kids. The breakfast was delicious, and it was definitely busier since it was free with our stay.

Service and breakfast was great will definitely be using this service on my next visit
We were initially skeptical staying at the Lego California Hotel, but we had heard that the included breakfast buffet at Bricks Family Restaurant was pretty good. Overall, one of our favorite thing about our stay was the breakfast buffet. The food was decent and plentiful, it was easy to get the food despite how many people were also trying to grab food, we never felt rushed or overcrowded, and there was something for everyone. Both mornings I loaded up multiple plates of food to fuel up for the day, and our kids even ate multiple plates (they aren't big morning eaters, so we were surprised). Do yourself a favor and hit this restaurant up in the A.M. Don't expect michelin star level food, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
