Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant in Carlsbad offers both hit and miss experiences. Beautiful place, but lunch service can be lacking. The overwhelming staff made for a slow wait for drinks. However, the bread, Ahi, and scallops are highly recommended, as are the Old Fashions. If you love trains, try sitting on the patio. The fun vibe and friendly service at the bar hightop tables create a different experience. The Bluewater roll and seared scallops were delicious, but the blackened halibut was just good. Despite some billing issues, the overall experience was very good. Located in a quaint atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant boasts a fresh fish market on site with amazing dishes such as crab cakes, clam chowder, salmon, swordfish, and key lime pie. The service was friendly, the food was tasty, and the atmosphere was inviting.
Badly prepared eating much overpriced. will not come back
Server were amazing! it was clear that they have worked so hard to provide the best service for restaurants. the food was fabulous! this is our restaurant.
A great dinner with our host family, party of 6, teenagers by 80s. positive comments from all about their food.
Great food. My husband and I had the calamari to start and it was super yummy! I had the walnut crusted halibut. It was a very generous portion and so good I ate it all. My husband had the cioppino. He too had a very healthy portion. We both would order what we had again.
Wonderful fish dinners and great flavors. Our server was super friendly and attentive.
