What a surprise to find great Indian food right off the exit on i-81! The cook warned me it cd take 20-25 mins because he cooks everything fresh. I said, "Yay! I 'll be happy to wait. "The food was worth the wait. I highly recommend Shahi Dhaba and will stop there again.Vegetarian options: It 's really hard to find good vegetarian on the I-81 when traveling. This food is fantastic! View all feedback.
What Roger Maiure doesn't like about Shahi Dhaba Indian Food:
Absolutely rude I just walked in asked the price they guy gave me literally three seconds to think about the absolutely ridiculous prices before he told me okay think about it and come back next time. Overall the energy was that this place in a gas station was too boujie for me to think about there 18$ chicken and rice for more than four seconds. In my opinion if you want to charge 18 dollars for chicken and rice get... View all feedback.
Great locally owned Indian food. Take out only at this time. Easy to miss because it's inside the Pioneer gas station. I've eaten here numerous times and it's always delicious. I recommend calling ahead as each dish is made fresh.
Had the very spicy goat. Sauce had Incredible flavor. Very hot. ????. Goat very tender, definitely fresh and not processed. Garlic naan excellent. Very friendly service, owner very personable.
Stop in at this place bc was doing my 10 hour break at the flying j, I order the lamb Vindaloo extra extra hot and boy was it. It like he used fresh peppers absolutely amazing. Be careful if u ask for it super hot u will get it stupid hot. Overall great texture and flavors. Will absolutely be back!
My kid and I were looking for a place to eat while charging our EV and found this restaurant nearby. We were a little more than surprised to see that it was attached to a gas station convenience store. While it didn't look like much, the food was flavorful, spicy, and cooked with great skill. The homemade picnic tables didn't make for much of a view and I did find the rice a little undercooked and a tiny bit chalky, but the lamb vindaloo and goat korma as well as the paneer naan we're worth riding home about. For at least worth leaving a review about!
Good food, but take medium spice) Recommend all truck drivers????
