Yummy's Chinese Takeaway - Carlisle

The food is great, the staff at the front is helpful and friendly, the delivery drivers are top, but what is the place below is the constant screaming at the staff, coming from the kitchen. The cook is an absolute tool. We had a lot of tears that were great, but after tonight we gather my food and hear how careless the cook is, to the staff. I think I'm staying with the delivery. Probably gave 5 stars before they walk in. Better food than most other Chinese riots in the city.

Long pickup was all right what was great! Pretty good Chinese food overall. Loved the Mini Curry Samosas best.

Always loved a break from Yummy’s, we all like the food and the variety of dishes offered. However, the new location of the shop is a nightmare parking and access is terrible at Botchergate, and even worse still it is venting into the heart of Carlisle Clubland, which I personally never find a very pleasant experience! Delivery is not an option for us due to our location. It is sad to say that I will not be back, but I wish the store well in their new premises.

We had Lemon chicken and Sweet and sour chicken both with fried rice. The portion amount for both was fair as was the price of £15 for both meals. Both chicken meals were tasty however the rice was a bit clumpy but was ok. Staff were pleasant and have a good Covid system in place for ordering and collection. I'd happily visit again when in the area. A good location especially if staying at the Central Travelodge like us.
