Topiary Coffee Shop - Carlisle

This is a large garden center with an interesting selection of other departments to investigate, including a pet store and tropical fishing area, clothing and food stores. it has a smaller caffe for a quick coffee as well as a larger restaurant with inside and outside seating for good weather days. the restaurant is a little on the expensive side and not on my taste, but that could be personal preference. my big coffee was quite small and motherly tee not so hot. I had a sweetheart who was too big for a part. everything seems to be balanced with regard to the quantity, and more essential meal times are quite complicated, so it is difficult to find a lunch snack. good cake.

Nice garden centre which , while it had a lot of the usual stuff, had plants etc that were well cared for. Miniature museum is worth a visit. Big aquarium shop. Great cafe … ridiculously large scone!

Very nice selection of plants of excellent quality. I bought several lavender types and they are all doing really well planted out as part a garden renovation. I'm happy that they were good value. Lots of other things to see and do additionally. Cafe, garden furniture, clothing and tools in the shop, modelling and crafts downstairs and fresh fruit and veg shop outside. Didn't go in the miniatures museum due to time but it looked very interesting. Car park is big and very organised.

The shop has a lot of choice of high quality products. If you do visit make sure you pay the restaurant a visit, food is great and definitely try a cake! Staff are fantastic and knowledgeable.

We stopped here during a long journey, hoping to use the facilities. In the end, we explored the shop and bought some coffee. It turned out to be a wonderful place to visit (I only wish we had more time). The facilities were spotless, the shop was filled with plants and interesting gifts, and the coffee shops were clean and efficient, serving excellent coffee. This place is so much better than a typical service station!
