What a great pub, very friendly and helpful landlady and bar staff, nothing is too much effort. Ordered a batch of Haggis Bon Bon’s to take away Great service and people Surprised how good and in expensive the drink and food is. BT television and all you need in a great village pub GIVE IT A TRY. EXCELLENT!! View all feedback.
What Paulla C doesn't like about The Stone Inn:
Nice little pub. Shame about the kinder garden going here.Kids left unsupervised, screaming and running in and out of the toilets. Unless you want kids around screaming all afternoon late into the night, I'd give this place a wide birth! View all feedback.
Excellent meal, the steak pie in particular was exceptional. The fish chips was more like whale and chips. Lovely dessert selection Dining room is small (6 or so tables) in a cute way. It's up narrow stairs so not suitable for wheelchairs, but there are tables downstairs, perhaps they might be able to accommodate if given advance notice. Limited parking, but definitely worth the effort. We will be back
Excellent takeaway meals on Saturday 20/3/2021, much enjoyed by 5 hungry customers.
We rang on the Sunday and got a table for 6 that evening. The pub is a small intimate building with lots of character. The meals were all of excellent hone cooked values and my roast beef dinner was great value at £10. All our plates were empty which is always a good sign. The puddings were the star of the show the pina Colada cheesecake and the sticky toffee pudding were fantastic. Highly recommended!
Delightful landlord, let me buy a drink and use the ladies even though he had just closed!
First visit, for a pre Xmas meal, lovely food In a lovely location, excellent venue for our family get together
